This week we were privileged to have Senator Chuck Gray from Mesa Arizona visit the Capitol to show his support for an amendments convention. It was a very generous commitment for him to fly across the state to be with us and his dedication ultimately demonstrates the immense importance of this legislation.
Senator Gray was elected to the Arizona State Legislature as a Senator in 2006, following three years of service as a Representative in the House. Before being elected to public office he served over 10 years in the Mesa Police Department, where he specialized in preventing adolescent crime and gang membership. He is a strong advocate of states' rights and we were very excited to have the opportunity to meet with him and discuss his views on an Article V amendments convention.
